HO-7009 – Ajax Pedestal Truck
Description
An early alternative to the arch bar truck, the Ajax Pedestal Truck was designed for freight car use and embraced by a few midwestern railroads after the turn of the century, most notably the Illinois Central and the Wabash. These trucks come with or without simulated body-hung brake beams (see photos).
