Description

The Ohio Falls Car Manufacturing Company built 100 34-foot wood gondolas for the Rio Grande Western in 1897. HO scale set letters three cars; O scale set letters two cars.

Ohio Falls built the number series 701 through 800. The RGW merged with the D&RG in 1908, but it took several years for the fleet to be repainted, so these decals are good for the period between 1897 and approximately 1915. The B.T.S. Expansion Era Series 34′ Gondola kit (not included) is an almost perfect match for these if the sideboards are extended to the endbeam.
